LSU offensive line coach Brad Davis and running backs coach Frank Wilson were entering the last year of their respective deals, but they have received raises and contract extensions that keep them on staff through the 2026 season.
The LSU Board of Supervisors on Friday approved their amended contracts, which include annual salary bumps. Davis will earn an average of $940,000 per year over the next three years. Wilson will earn roughly $1 million per year during the same time period.
Wilson, who is also the associate head coach and recruiting coordinator, signed a three-year deal when he joined coach Brian Kelly's staff in December 2021. Wilson, a New Orleans native, had been the head coach at McNeese State for two years.
Wilson's original contract would have ended after the 2024 season. He earned $950,000 last year, and he will make $1 million this year. Wilson's salary will later jump to $1.2 million during the final year of the deal.
Davis has been the LSU offensive line coach for the last three seasons. He signed a three-year contract when he joined the staff in summer 2021, and he last spring as he approached the last year of the original deal.
Under those terms, Davis was set to earn $870,000 this year. He now will make $900,000 before potential incentives. Davis' contract includes annual increases, and he will receive $990,000 during the 2026 season, the last year of his new extension.
Davis, a Ïã¸ÛÁùºÍ¿ª½±ÀúÊ·¼Ç¼ native, returned to his hometown shortly after LSU fired former offensive line coach James Cregg for cause. He served as interim head coach for the Texas Bowl as LSU transitioned to Kelly, and he was the only Ed Orgeron assistant retained by Kelly.
