UPDATE:ÌýMan arrested in Baker standoff accused of April shooting that killed 1, wounded bystander
A burst of gunfire at a Scotland Avenue convenience store killed one man and wounded a bystander in her nearby apartment, Ïã¸ÛÁùºÍ¿ª½±ÀúÊ·¼Ç¼ police said.
Police responding to the Kangaroo Express store at about 12:15 a.m. found a man, later identified as Michael Thomas, 51, in the parking lot suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
The victim was transported to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead, police said.
A second victim, a 51-year-old woman, was shot in the back by a stray bullet while she was lying in bed in her apartment on Barfield Avenue. She was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.Ìý
