The City of Baker Recreation Administration is hosting a Family Day in the Park, from noon to 8 p.m., May 4, at BREC鈥檚 Jefferson Street Park, 3503 Jefferson St. Food trucks and music will be available. The Baker Chamber of Commerce, Rotary, Pilot and Lions clubs are hosting the Baker Community Charity Golf Tournament on May 6 at BREC Beaver Creek Golf Course, 1100 Plains-Port Hudson Road. Price is $100 a person or $400 a team for the four-person scramble. Cost includes green fees, practice site, lunch, refreshments and prizes. Mulligan package is $20.

The Pride-Chaneyville Branch Library is holding its 14th annual Community History Festival from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. April 27. The theme is "High School Reunion-Cheers to Every 10 Years."
