A 3-year-old girl drowned while swimming in an Addis pool Wednesday morning, Addis Assistant Police Chief Jason Langlois said.
Shortly after 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, emergency officials were called to a residence on River's Edge Drive in Addis. The girl was airlifted to a hospital, where she was officially pronounced dead, Langlois said.
The Addis Police Department is investigating the incident as an accidental drowning, Langlois said.
