You Aren’t Alone
The You Aren't Alone Project, a Ïã¸ÛÁùºÍ¿ª½±ÀúÊ·¼Ç¼-based nonprofit, will host its fourth annual "You Aren't Alone Live Art Event" in celebration of Mental Health Month from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Friday, May 3, at Gallery 14, 210 S. 14th St. Suite D.
Tickets are $40 and include exclusive event access to powerful performances and awe-inspiring visual art exhibits, many of which will be available for auction, along with free food and beverages. Mental health and wellness vendors will be on-site to provide additional resources.

The Southeastern Louisiana University Contemporary Art Gallery is showing its spring Senior Exhibition 2024, featuring artworks created by graduating students in the Department of Visual Art + Design through May 11.

Call for submissions
The deadline is May 13 for submissions to the 54th annual River Road Show, sponsored by the Art Guild of Louisiana. This national juried show attracts artists from all over the United States with cash and merchandise awards in excess of $4,000. The exhibit, which is free and open to the public, will be at the Louisiana State Archives gallery, 3851 Essen Lane, from Aug. 3 to Sept. 16.

Tatting workshop
Registration is open for West Ïã¸ÛÁùºÍ¿ª½±ÀúÊ·¼Ç¼ Museum's series of tatting workshops led by Louisiana artist, Christy Benoit Castille.
Beginner Shuttle Tatting will be from 10 a.m. to noon on Tuesday, May 8. Simple Edging will be taught from 10 a.m. to noon Wednesday, May 22. At NUNU
NUNU Art Collective, 1510 Courtableau Highway, Arnaudville, will present a screening of "Pentecost Mass" with music legend and Louisiana Endowment for the Humanities Humanist Dickie Landry at 6 p.m. Saturday, May 11.
The film is a deeply personal exploration of Landry's Catholic upbringing in Cecilia. A cornerstone of original music, Landry has performed with avant-garde artists like Philip Glass and Laurie Anderson and has collaborated with the likes of Paul Simon and Robert Plant. He was also an original member of the legendary swamp-pop supergroup Lil Band of Gold.
